Since the song became available for digital download, it has become Lynyrd Skynyrd's third best-selling digital song after 'Sweet Home Alabama' and ' Free Bird. The song is one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's most popular songs. Huge surprise they played a killer set along with 10cc they were great. ' Simple Man ' is the last track on side one of Lynyrd Skynyrd 's debut album, (Pronounced 'Lh-'nrd 'Skin-'nrd). Twitter i jokingly suggested to the band is there a chance you may come to Australia, and they said we will be on our way! I was gobsmacked! To my

Each year, although i live in Australia around September/October an outdoor rock festival is organized in New Zealand and it usually occurs late January and early February, as i wasn't quite sure if they were going to play in Australia so i suggested to one of my friends i have to see them, i have to go! LYRICS SIMPLE MAN LYNYRD SKYNYRD CRACK
Even better this one was a real crack up, and should i take credit most definitely. Although it took me a long time, about 40 years but as you say better late than never. What can i say about the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd. I also like the concept of performing the first two albums track by track, in their entirety, in the same order as the original album releases.ĭVD or Blu-ray, this is a must-have concert performance. Good sound quality, good picture, reasonable camera work (I would like to have seen a bit more of Johnny Colt on bass), and best of all - a GREAT performance from the band. It is one of the best recordings of a live concert that I have ever seen. I decided that I just had to buy the blu-ray of the concert. I was always excited by Skynyrd's music, but I never particularly felt like exploring southern rock as a genre. So I fired up the laptop and spent a day looking through Google and YouTube, and refreshing my memory and discovering who Rickey Medlocke is, amongst others. I had not followed the story of the band after the plane crash, I am somewhat ashamed to say. I recorded it to my Sky box and watched it several times. I haven't listened to one of my Skynyrd albums or CDs for a few years now, but just recently I saw this concert broadcast on Sky Arts channel (10 days ago?). I am 60 now, but Freebird still sends shivers down my spine. I remember Lynyrd Skynyrd bursting on to the UK music front in the early 70s - and their appearances on "Whistle Test".
